Mad Lotus Yoga

Mad Lotus is a passion project born from a love of Yoga and a desire to create and unite the Yogis of tomorrow.

Our free-spirited studio offers over 80 m2 of space with 5 metre ceilings to breathe & flow, underfloor heating for the barefoot Yogi, mood-enhancing ambient lighting, and eclectic beats to ensure that every visit is an immersive experience.

We believe that every flow should be a celebration and an opportunity to rediscover the magic that lies within each and every one of us. Whether you find yourself drawn to sweet or spicy flows, Mad Lotus Yoga Center is where we can all gather to grow through the mud & mad on the journey to uncovering the magic within our practice.

Our founder

At just 16, Colette Maynard joined the English National Ballet and would go on to dance
around the globe with major international companies. By 32 years old, she made the difficult,
albeit unavoidable, decision to leave dance behind when chronic injuries took their toll.
After several years of feeling disconnected from her body and herself, Colette stumbled
upon Laughing Lotus Yoga in New York City.
From her first moment within this eclectic studio filled with music, chanting, unique flows, and
loving energy, Colette knew she was home.
It was there that she would heal her relationship with her body and mind. Colette did over
650 hours of Teacher Training with the studio’s founder, Dana Trixie Flynn, and Senior
Teachers, including Sheri Celentano, Victor Colleti, Ali Cramer, and Felipe Gonzalez.
Colette has been living and teaching in Madrid since 2017 at Zentro Urban Yoga and the IE
University. She became known for her creative Vinyasa flow sequencing, skillful teaching,
and the soulful energy she would share with her students.
After moving to Alicante, she decided to finally follow her dream of creating a home for ALL
Yogis dedicated to the magic of genuine human connection and divine movement.

Falling in love with Yoga was a head-over-heels kind of tumble for Nikki Warren.
Enjoying the improved flexibility and ease that came along with her practice, Nikki followed the flow she’d found herself in and immersed herself in 500 hours of Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training.
Inspired and committed to growing as a teacher, she would go on to complete 800 hours of Yoga Therapy training and 50 hours of Yoga Nidra training.
Nikki has brought her funky flows to students around the globe in various settings, encouraging them to explore the connections between the mind, body, and breath.
From her fiery Mad Strong classes to her soft and sweet Mad Dulce flows, her dedication, curiosity, and creativity allow her to weave her unique knowledge & magic into every sequence she designs.
We can’t wait for you to experience Nikki’s light here at Mad Lotus!
